The coat is usually washed with a de-shedding shampoo and a high velocity blaster to dry the coat to help remove the loose undercoat.

The ULTIMATE pamper for your pooch.
A full groom includes a pre bath comb out and clip to either breed standard or to your own requirement.
They are then bathed in the most appropriate shampoo and blow dried.
After a bath, I re clip and clip out pads and do a sanitary clip.
Finished with a spray of cologne.

Hand stripping includes a comb out and full body hand strip to breed standard.
This technique is usually used on wire coats to create a natural look and maintains the harsh texture of the coat.
Once fully hand stripped, your pooch will be bathed in either an aloe vera/oatmeal shampoo as this will soothe the skin and then blow dried.

More of an express service for when your happy hound just needs a quick tidy.
I will give them a bath with the most appropriate shampoo suitable for their skin and coat, a blow dry, full comb out of their coat, a sanitary clip, a face and paw trim and a tidy of their pads.
Finished with a spray of cologne.

A puppy groom includes a thorough brush, a bath using mild puppy shampoo, a gentle blow dry, tidy-up around the feet, in between the pads, around the eyes, and a nail clip.
There is no clipping of the coat at this stage. I
