Did you know that by the age of just 3, around 80% of dogs show signs of dental disease? Symptoms like bad breath, excessive drooling, and oral discomfort are common indicators—but poor dental health can also contribute to more serious conditions like heart, liver, and kidney disease.
Just like us, dogs benefit from regular dental care to stay healthy and happy. That’s why preventative care is essential, and why I offer Emmi-Pet ultrasonic teeth cleaning here at Nats Classy K9s, a top choice for professional dog grooming in Kenley.
This motionless, noise-free, and stress-free treatment is ideal for both dogs and puppies—even those who are anxious. The Emmi-Pet 2.0 system uses ultrasonic vibrations (not brushing!) to reach deep below the gum line, breaking down bacteria and preventing the build-up of plaque and tartar.
How does it work?
The microchip in the toothbrush head reacts with a specialist toothpaste and water, creating millions of tiny microbubbles. These bubbles gently lift away food particles, soften plaque, and destroy harmful bacteria—all without any mechanical brushing or sound.
The result?
Healthier teeth and gums, fresher breath, and a happier dog—without the stress of traditional cleaning methods or the need for anaesthetic.
Along with our Emmi-Pet sessions, we also provide de-shedding services to keep your dog looking and feeling great. Give your dog the gift of great oral hygiene—book an Emmi-Pet session today!

A compulsory consultation session including:
A dental health consultation with photographs taken of your dogs teeth and gums, initiation of the desentitisation process to the Emmi-Pet toothbrush and specialist toothpaste.
It will demonstrate how tolerable your pet is to having their teeth cleaned and identify if your dog is a good candidate for Emmi Pet and if so how many sessions on average may be needed to remove plaque or tartar build up and to achieve healthy teeth and gums.
This will all be discussed with you at the end of the trial.

Depending on the level of plaque and tartar build-up, and your dog’s tolerance, I offer a starter package of 3 sessions for teeth cleaning. The initial session is a longer introductory session and will be followed with 2 further sessions. These package sessions must be a maximum of 2 weeks apart.
My focus here is on removing as much plaque and tartar as possible, particularly around the gum line, to create a healthier oral environment.

Once the initial package is complete and your dog’s mouth is in good condition, I move on to regular maintenance.
Ongoing cleans are usually every 4-5 weeks apart.
Please note: if there is a longer-than-recommended gap between maintenance appointments, your dog may need another initial clean before returning to the maintenance schedule.
